I roasted the bones, then scooped out the marrow and made handheld pastries filled with escargot, marrow with lots of herbs and garlic - a scrumptious combination.
The bones were then slow cooked in liquid with some meaty rib bones, veggies, garlic and herbs to make a delicious bone broth.
I used the drippings and some of the broth to make a marrow bone gravy which I serve over British bangers and Yorkshire pudding. Perfect!
Made the best bone broth. Used the bones twice and still great flavored bone broth.
Time consuming to make (25+ hrs.) but the finished product is delectable. Used, as a base. to make an excellent beef stew.
Yep - these are great to compliment a stew! I love them!
We love to roast these up in the oven and enjoy with crackers when we are craving a high protein, tasty snack!
