These monsters showed up still frozen. Cooked my first one this weekend. They needed a little trimming. Very easy to do and you feel like a bad **** doing it. Was able to make a substantial amount of Mongolian beef and carne asada out of one package. Rich beefy flavor with the perfect amount of marbling. Stock up before your next cook out because im reordering soon and won't leave many for anyone else!
This is rapidly becoming my favorite steak of all, and it's one where the Wagyu advantage is the most pronounced. I prepare it in a pseudo-carne asada style, then grill it on my BGE. All I can say is that it's heavenly.
The only problem is that my six-year-old girls love it, too, and they are developing quite the appetite now, so I have to grill two at a time if I'm going to stuff myself.
She literally said “This is the best steak I’ve ever had”
