Bangers & Mash w/ Pork Sausage

Celebrate St. Patrick’s Day with Irish Bangers & Mash—a comfort food classic! Juicy, smoky sausages are nestled atop creamy, buttery mashed potatoes, then smothered in a deep, flavorful Guinness onion gravy. Every bite is a perfect balance of rich, savory, and hearty goodness. Ingredients:

  • 1 lb Mac's Farms Pork Sausage
  • 2 tbsp butter
  • 1 large onion, sliced
  • 1 cup Guinness or beef broth
  • 1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 tbsp flour
  • 4 cups mashed potatoes (butter & cream added)
  • Fresh parsley for garnish

Instructions:

  1. Cook sausage in a pan over medium heat until browned, then set aside.
  2. In the same pan, melt butter and cook onions until caramelized.
  3. Stir in flour, then add Guinness and Worcestershire sauce, simmering until thickened.
  4. Return sausage to the pan and let simmer for 5 minutes.
  5. Serve sausage over mashed potatoes, topped with the rich onion gravy.
