Who is Kansas City Cattle Company?

Kansas City Cattle Company was founded in 2016 by Patrick Montgomery, a veteran of the 1st Ranger Battalion, whose personal loss and journey to find renewed purpose shaped the company’s mission. After losing his brother-in-law Jeremy in action in 2011, Patrick spent years struggling with grief and a loss of direction. His eventual healing came through a deep commitment to his family, fellow veterans, and work that he could be proud of.
The company's mission was born out of Patrick’s belief that something was wrong with the U.S. agriculture industry. The mistreatment of animals and declining beef quality, driven by large corporate interests prioritizing quantity over quality, was unacceptable. Kansas City Cattle Company stands as a testament to changing that.
Veteran-owned and operated, KC Cattle is built on the ideals of transparency, integrity, and a commitment to quality that aligns with the original values of this country. The quality of their American Wagyu beef is a direct result of the care and respect given to their animals - grass fed and grain finished. By putting the well-being of their cattle first, they produce some of the best steaks you’ll ever taste.
